Eagle Watt Pottery

The Watt Pottery Eagle pattern was one of the limited production lines produced by the Watt Pottery Company.  Because of this limited production, many of the Eagle pieces are quite rare and hard to find.  Of course, the rarity will certainly have a reflection on the value.  Among some of the molds created in the Eagle pattern were various ribbed bowls, mixing bowls, canisters, cookie jars, covered bakers, ice buckets, and the ice lip pitcher.

The Eagle pattern was the only actual pattern that was created by using a stencil.  This ovenware was produced by spraying thinned colored slip through a stencil by using an air powered spray gun and thus creating the image on the pottery.  The Eagle pattern is indeed very unique and highly collectible if and when you can actually discover a new piece.
